Bridge Playing Options

Welcome! We are a happy group of people playing bridge in a relaxed Club atmosphere. Please think about joining us for a game.

The Club is affiliated with the ABF and the NSWBA. Members enjoy the benefits offered by these bodies, including the issuing of masterpoints.

When do we play Bridge?

Duplicate bridge is played at the Cheltenham Recreation Club on Tuesdays from 7.15 pm to 10.15 pm with players arriving earlier for a cup of tea or coffee. Members and visitors are welcome.


Introductory Bridge

Bridge lessons are available at certain times of the year. Contact Lucie Gabb 9877 0675 or Ross Mulholland 9484 0847 with enquiries.

Bridge Club Membership Fees and Benefits

Bridge Club Membership fees are:

  • $40 for Home Club Members;

  • $25 for Members whose home club is elsewhere


Playing Fees:

  • Members pay $6 per session table money;

  • Visitors pay $8 per session;

  • 'Red point' sessions (held 8-9 times a year) are $1 extra


Benefits include:

  • Home Club Members have their affiliation fees to the ABF and NSWBA paid by the Bridge Club;

  • All Members also become Social Members of the Cheltenham Recreation Club

  • Hand records are provided at the conclusion of each session;

  • Session results are posted on the web (weblink)
