Love and Marriage on Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day is coming up and what a perfect date to select to see the “Love and Marriage” Exhibition at the Whitlam Institute . I have organised a private tour by the curator of the Love and Marriage Exhibition at the Whitlam Institute located on the beautiful grounds of the Western Sydney University, Parramatta Campus. This will be  followed by a tour of the Female Orphan Building. Normally a tour of the exhibition is not offered to the public. 

A guided tour offers so much more. The stories of Love and marriage is told through case studies, letters, acts, documents, photographs sourced from the State Archives Office. Also, on show is an encompassing documentary photographs of marriage ceremonies and celebrations over 140 years. The Female Orphan school is the oldest three storey structure to shelter young girls from the depravity of Sydney Town.
