After more than a decade of trying, the Sydney Real Tennis Club has finally found a sports club that wants us.  On 9 July 2018 we signed heads of agreement with the Cheltenham Recreation Club (CRC) giving us the right to build a new real tennis court in Sydney!

Prepare to get excited everyone.  While there’s still a lot of work to do, we are finally going to be playing real tennis again in Sydney!

Make a tax-deductible donation or make a pledge as a founding member

Of course if we are going to build a court, we are going to have to raise funds.  Our funding target to build the new court is approximately A$2m.  Fundraising is being conducted by sponsorships, tax deductible donations, pledges, government grants and fundraising events.

We are calling on our membership base and other supporters for financial contributions, through tax-deductible donations and/or Foundation memberships.   Donations made to the Australian Sports Foundation are eligible for a tax deduction in Australia.  Alternatively, pledges or donations can be made into the SRTC escrow account, in which case they will be refundable in the unlikely event that the minimum fundraising target of A$1.25m is not reached.

Once payment is made you will be emailed a donation receipt which you can then claim a deduction in your tax return.

Every little bit helps!

As always we appreciate the support.
